Edward died of a sudden heart attack in early January, 1999 while playing tennis on the indoor tennis courts at Maharishi University of management in Fairfield, Iowa.

Edward F. Tarabilda Cognized The Art of multi-Dimensional Living , the name given to the body of spiritual and applied knowledge he founded.

Edward was raised in a traditional Catholoc family. After attending a minor Catholic deminary, college and law school, he became a lawyer and professor of law and government in Springfield, Illinois. His life underwent a profound change when he learned Transcendental meditation in the early 1970s and gained a Master;s Degree in Vedic Science form Maharishi European Research University. He then became an Assistant professor of law and Government and Vice President of maharishi International university in Fairfield, Iowa.

Orion (a.k.a. Daniel Hawthorne) graduated form Maharishi International University (now Known as Maharishi University of Management) in 1979 with a bechelor's degree in western Philosophy and in 1981 with a master's Degree in higher Education Administration.

He became a teacher of Transcendental Meditation in 1977 in Avoriaz, France and a Governor of the Age of Enlightenment in South Fallsburg, New York in 1979.

His spiritual journey led him to a profound awakening in the Presence of Gangaji in 1995.
