The Author Gorur Govinda Raju obtained B.E. degree from the Visvesvaraya Engineering College, Bangalore and subsequently Ph. D. degree from the University of Liverpool, England. He has served as professor and Chairman of a Department at the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, Professor and Head of Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Engineering at the University of Windsor, Ontario Canada. He is currently life Emeritus professor. He has authored previously five technical books and a novel. His hobbies are to play computer chess and red books on history of science and engineering. He and his wife Padmini live prats of the year in Windsor and Bengaluru.
