The book has been primarily designed as a text book to help U.G. & P.G. level students of education and allied disciplines to acquaint them with a simple and more concrete view of educational technology, keeping in view not only the scope of educational technology but also educational technology as a subject of study at U.G. & P.G. level of education. The present book contains 16 very informative and valuable chapters relating to various aspects of educational technology.

About the Author

Dr. (Mrs.) Haseen Taj obtained her M. Ed. and Ph. D. from the University of Bangalore University since 1986. She was First Rank holder and a University Gold Medalist in her M. Ed. Course. She is a recipient of " State Award" (1984), "National Award" (1996) " Professional Involvement Award" (1998) and "Best Teacher Award" (1998), "Behavioural Scientist Award" (2001), " Education Development and Peace Award" (2001), ( National Level Special Award" (2003) for her excellence in research. She has been chosen as " Member of Professional Women's Advisory Board" for her distinguished standing by ABI, USA, She has done quite a few book reviews and his published a number (8) of books, in addition to publishing several (98) research/ theoretical articles in Journals of National and International standards and repute. She has guided several M. Ed. / M. Phil. dissertations besides guiding Ph. D.'s. She has published several (14) research tools to her credit. She has executed several research project funded by different agencies. She has attended several National/ International level Seminars / Conferences and presented papers. She is a member of several academic in NGO's Office bearer / bodies, besides holding honorary positions in NGO's Office bearer of many academic / professional organizations. She has chaired several sessions in National / International level Seminars / Conferences and has also worked as resource person at different levels in different fields.
